The modern consumer faces a paradox: there has never been more product information available, and yet it has never been harder to find an honest opinion. Search for any product online and you’ll be met with a flood of affiliate-driven “best of” lists, influencer endorsements tied to discount codes, and manufacturer-funded reviews dressed up as independent journalism.
The result is that consumers make expensive, sometimes deeply disappointing purchases — not because they didn’t do their research, but because the research they found was compromised before they even read it.
We contacted a manufacturer directly to ask the questions their marketing wouldn’t answer. The response changed everything we thought we knew about the product.
